This is the most common feedback I get from my students. The truth is you can find almost anything you want to know about photography in a book or online. But it's so much easier (and faster) if you have someone to help you navigate that ocean of information. That's where I come in.

Is this an online photography course?
 

Yes and no. There are many "online photography courses" out there... I'm sure some of them are very good. What makes my site different is that I teach every single student myself. This is an extension of my studio classroom. I offer tailored private instruction, and structured curriculum, covering a wide range of topics from the absolute basics to professional studio photography.

 

I use a platform called ZOOM meetings to meet with students who are not physically in my studio. In addition, I've created an interactive online forum to serve three main purposes:

 

1. to supplement lessons and workshops with valuable reference material

2. to support my students' growth with ongoing mentorship and photo assignments

3. to provide a safe space for my students to share images and receive constructive feedback

What do I get with my monthly membership?

All membership levels include access to the private forum and my mini blog full of valuable material.  I'll post weekly lessons and assignments to help you hone your technical skill and creative vision. I will also host weekly online critique sessions where you can submit images for "public" review and feedback. Additionally, you can add on private lessons through the ZOOM meeting platform.
